I read a posting a while ago about this company, Riya, that specialize in face recognition (especially for photos, what else?). Reading through various blogs related to the company, it was interesting. There's this Danny, the sexer, the guy who writes software that determines whether the person is male or female. It was said that the accuracy is around 85%.
Where this company is heading? Becoming part of flickr?
After a while, I lost the link to if (forgot to put in my del.icio.us). Not knowing what to do, I used "face recognition sexer" as the keywords. Found it. I am tempted to use "sexer" only as the keyword, just for the heck of it. Anyway, here's a set of links.
